5 Foot Problems in Women and How to Overcome It
Women often experience foot pain caused by various problems. As we get older, the health of our feet will decrease as the power of the foot decreases.
Reporting from the Prevention page on Tuesday (24/7/2018) according to a recent survey conducted by the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS), women are nine times more likely to develop foot problems than men. This could be because nine out of ten women use shoes too small, especially for women who love high heels.
Here are five foot health problems that women often experience:
1. Plantar fasciitis
This is the most common problem. Plantar fasciitis is inflammation that causes swelling in the legs and causes heel pain. On the sole of the foot there is a network called facia. Inflammation Occurs due to too much pressure on the feet.
The fix is by massaging. Massaging can help relieve inflammation and encourage oxygenated blood supply to the feet.
2. Bunion and hammertoes
This is the condition of the fingers shrinking due to wearing shoes too tight. Friction of shoes can cause inflammation and swelling. If it continues to happen, the position of the finger will stick with another finger.
The fix is to try to use wider shoes, so the shoes don't put too much pressure on the fingers.
3. Calluses (calluses)
Calluses are thickening of the skin area. Actually this is the body's reaction to protect sensitive skin. Even though it doesn't hurt, almost everyone is concerned about the thickening of the skin.
The fix is to soak the feet with warm water then use the lottery as a moisturizer because it can help soften the skin.
4. Achilles tendonitis
The Achilles tendon is the muscle that connects the calf to the heel. This muscle can experience inflammation. Trades are most likely to occur in runners and women who use high rights.
The fix is to use non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (such as Motrin or Advil) to relieve inflammation.
5. Morton Neuroma
Conditions that cause pain in the foot ball. The pain will get worse if the foot is exposed to a hard surface. This condition is often experienced by students, tennis players, or high-rights users.
The fix is to use shoes that are a little thick so they can protect your foot ball.
